Whether you have just received your Martelli rotary cutter in the mail or you need to replace the rotary cutter blade this blog will help you. We will discuss how to assemble and disassemble a rotary cutter in the safest and most efficient way possible.

Assemble:

Hold the handle in your right hand, if your right-handed and vice versa for lefties.

  1. Hold the blade cover and spring in your left hand
  2. Place the spring blade into the slim groove the shape is made for
  3. Stretch the spring slightly and push around the guard into place
    1. The guard should click slightly when it falls into place

4. Place the fan-shaped insert into the center of the blade atop the blade guard

    5. Slide the plastic insert into place with the tab facing upwards until it locks in place

      6. Slide the blade in between the fan-shaped piece and the plastic insert

        7. Screw the bolt into the hole in a counterclockwise motion

          Disassemble:

          1. Unscrew the silver bolt using a clockwise motion
          2. Pull the bolt straight out
          3. Flip the blade guard back so the blade is exposed
          4. Carefully pull the blade out
